Our garden this year only produced one dinky little pumpkin that was starting to be eaten by some kind of bug or slug so we went and picked out some pumpkins this year! The boys really liked going and seeing all the different kind of pumpkins. The big ones and the tiny ones. The gourds and other weird stuff they had. We never got around to carving them for Halloween though. So, I think I might have to try cooking one of them and them!

Tristan had his First Birthday this year. The more kids I have the faster time seems to go by! August 4th, was a warm and sunny day. Perfect for doing cake and ice cream outside on the patio in the back yard!

We took a day trip up to Bear Lake,UT this summer. It's one of my favorite summer spots. The water is blue like a tropical ocean! This lake is soo big! There are even little sea shells in the sand. The kids love it too. They love playing in the sand and I love that the water depth is so gradual. I don't have to worry about them drowning! It is about and hour and a half drive from home so we manage 2-3 trips a year in the summer time. :O) We pack a picnic lunch and take some shade with us and make it an all day thing!

Hailey's Birthday Quilt

I finally had Hailey's quilt finished. Poor Hailey had to wait so long to get her quilt. BUT, better late then never right!? :O) She picked out the colors and the pattern. Such grown up choices!

March Mohawk Madness

The boys participated in March Mohawk Madness this year. Jonah does not usually like getting his hair cut. He cries every time! So, I cut Clayton's hair first. After I spiked it up, Jonah decided that he really liked it and that he wanted his hair to be like Clayton's hair. :O) This was the only haircut he has had without crying. After I gave the boys Mohawks, they convinced daddy that he needed one too. So they all had one and we called it March Mohawk Madness! :O)

Harvesting our "home grown" pumpkins!

This Year, we grew some of our own pumpkins! They didn't turn out to be very big, but we loved 'em none the less! It was lots of fun to go out and "HARVEST" them. ;) The boys were really excited to finally get a pumpkin of their own.

Baby Tristan

Tristan, less then a month after he was born. We were enjoying a nice warm afternoon, watching the boys and cousins play in the sprinkler and eating some Popsicles! (well, at least I was...) Tristan so far, has been my tiny-est baby. Weighing in @ 7lbs 6oz.

The veiw from up here....

This was my view when I would look down...I had one month (exactly) left to go before Tristan was born. :)

Ethan's Birthday Quilt.

This is the quilt that I made for Ethan for his Birthday.(may 4, 2009) He picked out the pattern and I created it! :)
I also made one for Hailey this year for her birthday.(mar. 23,2010) But I haven't had it quilted or photographed yet. I'll post a picture when I do.
Eventually, I would like to make a quilt for all of my nieces and nephews. I may have high expectations! But I'll try my best. ; )
